When All Else Fails Still Believe
John 16:33 states ….In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Our position in life should always be one that we are believing God and walking by faith. Standing in faith should become a lifestyle. And in spite of what happens in our lives we should always believe that God is fighting for us and is there for us.
In Samuel chapter 30 David and his men arrived back to Ziklag from talks with other leaders about a war that was going on where David was going to actually assist in fighting the war but did not. Ziklag was the camp where the families of David and his men were staying. And when they arrived back to the camp the enemy had raided and burned the camp, and took the families who were staying there. David and his men cried in dismay when they saw what had happened. All of David’s men blamed David for what happened. But instead of feeling defeated David took courage in the Lord, sought His guidance and gained enough strength to go and fight for the families that were taken.
In the end David recovered his entire family along with all that the enemy had and returned home safely.
