Redirect the Storm-Update the Command Center of Your Life
The heart of man is the command center of the soul which also can dictate what is happening or begin to frame what will happen in our lives in the future. The words we speak (or do not speak for that matter) good, bad or indifferent are dictated by what is in our hearts. Many times our circumstances and problems stem from what is in our hearts, which in turn dictates what we speak out of our mouths.
People, places, and things don’t have the power to dictate what happens in our lives. The bible says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Therefor, even though a weapon or a negative circumstance can begin to be formed or created by some outside force, the bible says that it will not prosper. When we trust in God and we say what He says that weapon has a timeframe stamped to it. So no matter what it looks like you will win in the end. But the key is to make sure that the command center of your life, which is year heart, has the word of God directing it.
God undertands that many of us have had things happen to us beyond our control which for some has caused trauma and pain. And sometimes these situations make us feel trapped. Like we want to change, we want a different situation but we cannot figure out how to move. God understands this but He also knows that He has given us the power and the authority. Once He did that He cannot change it. This is why He says cast your cares on Him. (scirpture). Because we have the power and authority we need to open up our mouth to redirect the storm and change what is directing our hearts, which is the command center of our soul.
