The Best Place to Invest

While we have places in this life to invest our time and our money, there is something that can offer the greatest and most lasting value for us and the generations to come.

Investing our money can increase our current financial position so that  we have an opportunity to leave money or other material things such as a summer home or a business to our children, or provide a nest egg for retirement and more.  We invest our time into work, relationships, organizations and/or clubs, working out, hobbies and the like.

While all of these have a level of importance there is nothing more important than investing in our relationship with God.
The one thing that every human being has in common no matter where they invest their time or money is life’s circumstances and situations. At any given point and time each of us may find ourselves experiencing some form of hardship, loss of loved ones, set backs, broken relationships, health issues, financial hardship.  Or even feelings of disappointment, regret, guilt, lack of self confidence, loneliness, grief, heartache, discontent, and more.

Investing in our relationship with the Lord offers the greatest returns that life has to offer.  For unanswered questions God is a counselor.  For grief and heartache He's a healer.  For setbacks He restorers.  For health challenges He is a healer.

Let’s seek to invest our time fostering our relationship with the Lord. It has much greater values than things on earth.  We will then be able to conquer all things through Christ and no weapon formed against us shall or will prosper in this life.
