Healing Is Your Inheritance

Being able to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit are a few things that we have inherited as God’s children. Illness and disease was never a part of God’s original plan for our lives.

We can all attest to the fact that we believe Jesus’s death on the cross gives us an opportunity to be in our rightful place with God. This is why many of us will say things like “no one is going to steal my joy or my peace”. But many times we never think to protect our healing through God’s word.

Numerous amounts of individuals are plagued with high blood pressure, diabetes, dementia, arthritis, stomach ailments, allergies, and more. Yet in our society as Christians many of us do not adhere to the same approach when it comes to believing God for our healing as we do for other things. We will pray for a house, car, money, and other things but we rarely pray for God to heal us unless we have been diagnosed something of which the doctor said we have a limited time to live. Yet all the diseases listed above and more offer a lessor quality of life and can often lead to death.

Many people make comments with regards to their illness being incurable, inherited, or common among people of their race. While this may be a fact in the natural it is not the truth according to God’s word.

Let’s begin to press towards declaring our healing on a daily basis and make it a part of our daily faith confessions along with everything else we are believing for. This way all things are covered by the Lord and there are no cracks in our spiritual life for the enemy to come in.
